Nicola Wolters- MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), BA, CCPT
Life is unpredictable. It brings challenges and pain, but also moments of joy, connection, and growth. Through everything I have lived, two things have remained constant: resilience and love. Both have shaped who I am β as a person and as a therapist.
I believe healing happens in relationship. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply human.
I work from a person-centred foundation β you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to walk alongside you. Sessions draw on mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, and grief-focused frameworks to help you move forward β not around the hard things, but through them.
As a Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP), I understand how difficult experiences live in the body. Trauma-informed care is woven into everything I do.
I am drawn to working with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, caregiving, grief, love and loss. This is not accidental β I have lived these experiences myself. I know what it feels like to not recognize your own life. I have found my strength, and I can help you find yours.
My path to this work was anything but linear β researcher, doula, wedding officiant, trainer, and more. Every role shared one thread: helping people through pivotal moments. I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and bring both the education and the living into the therapy room.
You don't have to have it figured out to begin. Just show up, and I will meet you there.
